Osvaldo Neto made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when 韩默克 sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldo Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evripidis Picoulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 韩默克 in the 14th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitório Lago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osvaldo Neto. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 21st minute 韩默克 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Vander in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Hortêncio Mandrak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Lago got free with Osvaldo Neto in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dennis Roelfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Varela having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Vander came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Evripidis Picoulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hortêncio Mandrak in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 minutes of play, EDI MZB's Oséas Vander made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitório Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Dennis Roelfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 韩默克 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Lang Liang in the 46th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Vitório Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Mandrak in the 60th minute of the match. EDI MZB's Osvaldo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Lago in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's Ma Lang Liang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Allan Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. EDI MZB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ma Lang Liang in the 65th minute. Allan Varela made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Hortêncio Mandrak sent off a good shot on target. Herbert Pankowski kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Hortêncio Mandrak got in the 74th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Allan Varela handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vitório Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra do Interior's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitório Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Herbert Pankowski got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Herbert Pankowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitório Lago struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Osvaldo Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra do Interior. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Palestra do Interior from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. EDI MZB walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
