Omid Kaulbach might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omid Kaulbach ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by 韩默克 in the 7th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Cosme Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 韩默克 in the 9th minute of the match. The throw-in from Jorginho Ferreira in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Ma Wei Jun. In the 11th minute, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cosme Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 韩默克, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frédson Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Cosme Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 韩默克 in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Barbosa in the 18th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Palestra do Interior defense, Corneliu Dridu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Varela. The Palestra do Interior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Varela should have stopped the shot. Cosme Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cosme Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Barbosa in the 30th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when 韩默克 came free, but Cosme Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Evripidis Picoulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the match Mauro Romero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Varela skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Herbert Pankowski hit a great ball. Jorginho Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 韩默克 to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romário Barbosa got free with Cosme Pere in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 韩默克 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Cosme Pere 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palestra do Interior's zone, Omid Kaulbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Varela came out of the goal and Omid Kaulbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cosme Pere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romário Barbosa in the 59th minute. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Evripidis Picoulas. Palestra do Interior's Niclas Danielsson was substituted for 韩默克. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Romário Barbosa. Evripidis Picoulas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Mauro Romero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Varela skillfully saved the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute of the match Palestra do Interior got a corner. Dr Lecter SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niclas Danielsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 72nd minute of play. With his leg Cosme Pere managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 77 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Dridu came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Pere made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Percival Cruz sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Fang Guang Bang in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dr Lecter SC's Ma Wei Jun. Corneliu Dridu took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Varela. Allan Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. Wes Vranx replaced Dieguinho de Medeiros. After 88 minutes of play, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosme Pere was a little too slow when Vitório Lago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dr Lecter SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Palestra do Interior had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
