With a little luck, SC Bertioga's Bruninho Vaz got control of the ball when Vinicio Junior tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anderson Pombal took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Seaman. David Seaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aníbal Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Aníbal Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Bertioga's Bruninho Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jenipapo SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
