Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aníbal Alagoano took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Vinicio Junior's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Kosmatka was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After 11 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago de Barros. Leon Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Junior in the 14th minute of play. If Aníbal Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Vinicio Junior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Junior in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Kosmatka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fiori de Lara hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Seco got free with David Seaman in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vinicio Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Raphael Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raphael Cunha in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Kosmatka saved INTER FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Thiago de Barros got a free kick in the 34th minute. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Cruz in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Cunha in the 39th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Kosmatka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcan Siralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Marco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Marco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Seaman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. 51 minutes into the match, INTER FC's Marco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Seaman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Cunha came free, but Leon Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Vinicio Junior who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. INTER FC made a substitution. Hortêncio Linhares replaced Marco Seco. In the 68th minute of the match Jenipapo SC got a corner. INTER FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arsenio Gipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leon Kosmatka in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Kosmatka was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Arósio in the 76th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Seaman came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Aníbal Alagoano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leon Kosmatka quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Mandi Oca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Linhares to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Linhares came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Linhares was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hortêncio Linhares hit a great ball. Many of Jenipapo SC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Jenipapo SC may have spent more time on the ball, but INTER FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
