Flying Dutch's Josue Barro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, João Adolfo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Dennis Roelfs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josue Barro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eurico Batista struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Osvaldo Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flying Dutch. The audience was convinced that Teofil Pisarcik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josue Barro was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Dennis Roelfs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Josue Barro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Ivașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Neto having to interfere. Josue Barro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Roelfs, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Dennis Roelfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Barro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Higinio Raymundo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osvaldo Neto. Higinio Raymundo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A collision led to EDI MZB getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dennis Roelfs hit a great ball. Dong Zheng Hong kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Fabian Ivașcu came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Flying Dutch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Ivașcu couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Lain. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Xacintu to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Hortêncio Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EDI MZB and the Flying Dutch players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hortêncio Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Niceto Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Osvaldo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josue Barro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Pisarcik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute of the match, Ma Lang Liang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josue Barro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Flying Dutch's Eurico Batista got a free kick in the 60th minute. Flying Dutch's Josue Barro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Gaspar in the 67th minute of play. Hortêncio Mandrak came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Josue Barro could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Dutch's zone, Teofil Pisarcik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josue Barro came out of the goal and Teofil Pisarcik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josue Barro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Roelfs in the 75th minute.
