An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 11th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Batista got free with David Seaman in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Jenipapo SC booed when Flying Dutch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Vinicio Junior who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flying Dutch's Arthur Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eurico Batista's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th match minute, Flying Dutch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Santos to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Arthur Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jenipapo SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
