Willian Loyola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Alagoano went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Willian Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Raphael Cunha scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raúl Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Maia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Maia. If Raphael Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Aníbal Alagoano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Willian Loyola. That made the score 4-0 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Cunha in the 22nd minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Loyola came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Zé Carlos Monteiro. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 27th minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willian Loyola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vinicio Junior showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 40 minute of play. Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Morro Grande E.C from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola got control of the ball when Raphael Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aníbal Alagoano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Aníbal Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Willian Loyola. Morro Grande E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. After 56 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Willian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Aníbal Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. In the 68th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Pinho to maneuver through the defense. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Duarte in the 71st minute of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Raphael Cunha sped through Morro Grande E.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Willian Loyola. In the 77th minute, Raphael Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jenipapo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Aníbal Alagoano scored 16-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Zé Carlos Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes, Morro Grande E.C's Reynaldo Tepedino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Seaman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Morro Grande E.C reached it. Willian Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jenipapo SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
