After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's Mario Jardeløv got a free kick in the 6th minute. Hermínio das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques got control of the ball when Chicão Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Minotauro's corner Perivaldo Dias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Guilherme Marques quite easily take care of the ball. Romeu Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Luís Guilherme Marques made a huge save. A collision led to Minotauro getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Tales Vasconcelos hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Fagondo Vasquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte de Barros. Minotauro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fagondo Vasquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chicão Corrêa got free with Luís Guilherme Marques in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Duarte de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fagondo Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Minotauro's Carlos Augusto Lopez got a free kick in the 38th minute. BRASIL.Sp's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elói Amaral in the 40th minute. Luís Guilherme Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fagondo Vasquez to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Romeu Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by BRASIL.Sp's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Perivaldo Dias was slow to take the kick. During this time Minotauro's players had a chance to rest. Perivaldo Dias made a great header on Minotauro's corner, it was just that BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques managed to reach the ball for a save. If Fagondo Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BRASIL.Sp's Robertinho Teodorowski was substituted for Bart Croisé. Minotauro's Duarte de Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Minotauro from getting a goal against them. Reynaldo Rossi's late challenge caught a Minotauro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeu Sousa in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Guilherme Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duarte de Barros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusébio Barros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th minute Almir Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over BRASIL.Sp could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minotauro throughout the match.
