Patric Isaksson came out of the goal and Raphael Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Maurício Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aníbal Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Patric Isaksson made a huge save. In the 11th minute Raphael Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 17th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Isaksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Cunha in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's Luiz Paulo do Valle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 25th minute Di Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nariman Mansourian came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 28th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Agustín Tastzian sped through Jenipapo SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Seaman. Agustín Tastzian kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Browne. Barrenta SC's Di Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Cabral in the 41st minute of play. Raphael Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patric Isaksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Alagoano got free with Patric Isaksson in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Patric Isaksson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Aníbal Alagoano in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jenipapo SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arsenio Gipuzkoa in the 48th minute. The corner led Jenipapo SC's Arsenio Gipuzkoa to fire away a dangerous shot which Patric Isaksson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

Patric Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Junior struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Patric Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jenipapo SC. After 62 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Arruda. A nice corner shot did that Arsenio Gipuzkoa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patric Isaksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Tastzian in the 67th minute of play. Patric Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Junior in the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Jenipapo SC's David Seaman got control of the ball when Nariman Mansourian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Carlos Monteiro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Fellipe Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Lago in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's Zé Carlos Monteiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patric Isaksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. David Seaman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Di Marinho in the 82nd minute. Fellipe Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrenta SC's Urban Stenman was substituted for Fellipe Lago. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Alagoano in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patric Isaksson saved Barrenta SC from getting behind. Jenipapo SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arsenio Gipuzkoa in the 89th minute. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Poalelungi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper David Seaman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Di Marinho. Patric Isaksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Cunha in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
