With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Michel Legdeur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pavel Nurme kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Marko Ööpik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Legdeur in the 22nd minute of the match. Armageddon's attentive Virgil Gentenaar managed to snatch the ball when Diego Bradley made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Monty Rogers made a precise shot to the right of Marko Ööpik. Armageddon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Edward Mcdonald scored 1-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marko Ööpik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Armageddon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Diego Bradley was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Armageddon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Michel Legdeur made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Michel Legdeur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armageddon's Marko Ööpik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Armageddon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qian Jie Yuan to maneuver through the defense. Marko Ööpik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Inocencio Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Michel Legdeur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Michel Legdeur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Marko Ööpik made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marko Ööpik had great luck who in the 82ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Monty Rogers from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Marko Ööpik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
