Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Orestis Lazarou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rondo's Orestis Lazarou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. Arnout Arends could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Orestis Lazarou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Charly Rusterholz in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Rondo's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Orestis Lazarou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orestis Lazarou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orestis Lazarou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Rondo's Charly Rusterholz in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd match minute, Rondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk-Jan Knuppel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play forced Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes Rondo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orestis Lazarou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charly Rusterholz to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orestis Lazarou having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Rick de Zee was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Orestis Lazarou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnout Arends, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Orestis Lazarou in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orestis Lazarou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 81st minute. After 88 played minutes Rondo got a freekick which was hit by Dirk-Jan Knuppel. Orestis Lazarou made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orestis Lazarou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 93 played minutes Rondo got a freekick which was hit by Rick de Zee. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
