After taking down the ball on U21 Totoras F.C.'s corner Fernando Polo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and César Boldrini quite easily take care of the ball. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Epifanio Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Ryberg in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute U21 Totoras F.C. were awarded a corner. Fernando Polo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fernando Polo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini did a great save. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Epifanio Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Ryberg in the 31st minute of play. Vila Industrial FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after U21 Totoras F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roberto Cibran took the corner. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Valery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vila Industrial FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto Cibran in the 60th minute. Roberto Cibran made a great header on Vila Industrial FC's corner, it was just that U21 Totoras F.C.'s Epifanio Valery managed to reach the ball for a save. Epifanio Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
