After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Beremundo Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Burgas's supporters rose to their feet, but Beremundo Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juliusz Kaczeniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beremundo Castro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Juliusz Kaczeniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beremundo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Juliusz Kaczeniak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galo Campos in the 8th minute. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cedro Pantoja hit a great ball. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Dantas in the 12th minute of play. Beremundo Castro's late challenge caught a Vingadores F.C U23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beremundo Castro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Sporting Burgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beremundo Castro to maneuver through the defense. Maurin Canturri kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galo Campos got free with Juliusz Kaczeniak in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sporting Burgas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Seve Sevilla in the 25th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Bebeto Romário had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán. Sporting Burgas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bebeto Romário was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Romário in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Perpiñán saved Sporting Burgas from getting behind. Vingadores F.C U23 were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Sporting Burgas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fábio Dantas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Fábio Dantas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Álvaro Perpiñán quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Álvaro Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Romário, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Beremundo Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Kaczeniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Sporting Burgas's Seve Sevilla to fire away a dangerous shot which Juliusz Kaczeniak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Vingadores F.C U23 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beremundo Castro was the one to do the kick off. Vingadores F.C U23's Juliusz Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beremundo Castro in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Vingadores F.C U23's goal looked a bit too open when Beremundo Castro came free, but Juliusz Kaczeniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliane Álvarez got free with Álvaro Perpiñán in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Beremundo Castro hit a great ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Galo Campos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juliusz Kaczeniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Vingadores F.C U23's Elói Donato was substituted for Bebeto Romário. After 73 played minutes Vingadores F.C U23 got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Paulista. 77 minutes into the match, Vingadores F.C U23's goal looked a bit too open when Galo Campos came free, but Juliusz Kaczeniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Burgas's attentive Javier Carmona managed to snatch the ball when Leandro Paulista made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Juliane Álvarez made a precise shot to the right of Álvaro Perpiñán. Sporting Burgas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 89th minute of the match, Bebeto Branco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Vingadores F.C U23's Álvaro Perpiñán threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elói Donato, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Vingadores F.C U23's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
