With an extended leg and a bit of luck Li Lin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Kjellqvist in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Nicolás Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Luizão Pesquera quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Venancio Nardo, made in the 16th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Gualter Gulak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualter Gulak to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Vecdet Baştürk came free, but Thiago Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golaki Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head. Li Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golaki Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
