Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adulfo Antunez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Adulfo Antunez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Berke Gümüşsoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke Gümüşsoy in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adulfo Antunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. AYAZAĞA FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Colombia's Luis Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adulfo Antunez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

AYAZAĞA FK made a substitution. Atabek Makbul replaced Berke Gümüşsoy. AYAZAĞA FK's Samy Froidefond was substituted for August Bergendahl. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atabek Makbul in the 54th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Kevin Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adulfo Antunez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After 78 minutes, Atabek Makbul made it 5-4 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adulfo Antunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Secada. With a little luck, AYAZAĞA FK's Adulfo Antunez got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AYAZAĞA FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
