Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Flóki Ólafsson came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Fomac FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flóki Ólafsson couldn't finish the play. A nice corner shot did that Tobias Stenström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced Fomac FK's goalkeeper Erland Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Erland Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fomac FK's Jonny Brattås got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Erland Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lindar Månsson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Armando Paraibano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 29th minute Fomac FK were awarded a corner. Tobias Stenström went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Rikard Smefeldt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Erland Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Fomac FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Flóki Ólafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Armando Paraibano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Armando Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 63rdth minute of the game Armando Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Fomac FK's Armando Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Erland Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fomac FK's Peder Rolfsson was substituted for Flóki Ólafsson. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erland Söderberg. That made the score 1-3 in the 83 minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
