But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in DirectorVisual.com's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Iruinea came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Mauro Iruinea made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Iruinea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Urtats's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. DirectorVisual.com's Federico Urtats got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The DirectorVisual.com fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
