When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Thanks to some nice moves Francisco Seco could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Fausto Gaspar however easily saved by the left post. In the 56th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. Uruguay's Francisco Seco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fausto Gaspar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Corrupção DMZ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hélder da Rocha hit a great ball. Corrupção DMZ made a substitution. Diego Armando replaced Radoslaw Dlugi. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Corrupção DMZ booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes, Patrick Rossi made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Corrupção DMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
