Lara Peñaranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Lara Peñaranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Beneficiente's Zheng Guang Ning got a free kick in the 44th minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball.
