Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Julian Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xencio Millan was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Jairo Ler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Jairo Ler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Ciano got free with Thiago Pliego in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Efraim in the 11th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xencio Millan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Xencio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xencio Millan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Joey who took care of the corner kick. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Xencio Millan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Cardiff City FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Cardiff City FC's Primitivo Ciano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Xencio Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xencio Millan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Thiago Pliego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Julian Efraim tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Efraim was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Efraim came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Jairo Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Xencio Millan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Cardiff City FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xencio Millan. The Cardiff City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xencio Millan should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goalkeeper Xencio Millan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 80th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Cardiff City FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Xavier Figueroa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Xencio Millan quite easily take care of the ball. Mariano Lacasa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cardiff City FC's Baltasar Bertin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Garrido in the 85 minute of the game. In the 96th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gerardo Pozo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xencio Millan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
