An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Prata in the 2nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Nina fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Prata in the 7th minute of play. Milagros Fraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Sansone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11th play minutes Julian Murillo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Higinio Sansone and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 13th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Sansone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 22nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Nina fc's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Higinio Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Saul Macerio made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Macerio in the 54th minute of the match. Higinio Sansone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Saul Macerio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Macerio in the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Higinio Sansone. That made the score 1-4 in the 99 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
