Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Valentino Ricci sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Atabek Ula came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Valentino Ricci could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. FUF F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atabek Ula in the 17th minute. Colombia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Atabek Ula 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Lehen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Santino Seco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Lehen saved FUF F.C from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Bihar to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Lehen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Lehen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Momo Sampler notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FUF F.C.
