The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victoria Toruń's Lóránd Szarka was substituted for Benedykt Kluska. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Pablo Marmol hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhu Yan Quan's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Zhu Yan Quan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
