In the 19th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Inautzi having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Inautzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Maximiliano Escribano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Inautzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 35 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Inautzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 38th minute of the match. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Bernardo Inautzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Teodoro Criston made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Emiliano Abreu. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Federico Azubeli hit a great ball. The Consejo del Mate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 0-3.

Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Inautzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Consejo del Mate's Elpidio Tipi got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Consejo del Mate from getting a goal against them. When Maximiliano Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Escribano couldn't finish the play. Federico Azubeli hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Inautzi, 0-5. In the 72nd minute Elpidio Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 74 in the game by Maximiliano Escribano from a close distance when the talented Bernardo Inautzi managed to make a qualified save. Consejo del Mate's players were relieved. When Jaime Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Cazalla couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Azubeli came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Inautzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Francisco Seco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardo Inautzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Seco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 84th minute. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Inautzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Consejo del Mate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
