Pär Löfdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 9th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Pär Löfdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pär Löfdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximilian Arenstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Pär Löfdahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. AZAT MARD FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pär Löfdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pär Löfdahl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Olsman in the 45th minute of play. The AZAT MARD FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon Waller to make the kick off. In the 61st match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Zorita to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Olsman in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 63rd minute AZAT MARD FC were awarded a corner. Jon Waller went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Olsman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Åkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AZAT MARD FC to leave the ground with a draw.
