Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonçalo de Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roneixon Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roneixon Siqueira went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Espigão Steamrollers got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oswaldo Nascimento ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Roneixon Siqueira managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 35 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 38th minute of play forced Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonçalo de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. A collision led to Espigão Steamrollers getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Oswaldo Nascimento hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonçalo de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Espigão Steamrollers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Espigão Steamrollers made a substitution. Gil Vieira replaced Ulisses Carioca. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. The throw-in from Leandro Gil in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 69 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Nascimento. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Espigão Steamrollers defense, Milagros Fraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonçalo de Medeiros. The Espigão Steamrollers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Espigão Steamrollers's Yuri Paranaense was substituted for Roneixon Siqueira. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espigão Steamrollers's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Paranaense came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Peru's Gonçalo de Medeiros threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 98 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 99 minutes Espigão Steamrollers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Antonio Tenorio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Peru played a much better game than Espigão Steamrollers and deserved their victory. The Espigão Steamrollers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
