Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 5th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrik Möllgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Henrik Möllgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match SSC Ambrosini got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Kilman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Glanselius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Christer Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SSC Ambrosini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 27th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SSC Ambrosini's Christer Lundin in the 29th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Julio Vera was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Ecuador through an amazing save. Henrik Möllgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Glanselius having to interfere. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Felix Montenegro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Möllgren was the one to do the kick off. Henrik Möllgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 60th minute, Henrik Möllgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Ambrosini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Möllgren in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Henrik Möllgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SSC Ambrosini's Magnus Fribäck was substituted for Christer Lundin. 84 minutes into the game, Juan Sebastián Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Ambrosini the free kick. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 85th minute of play. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, SSC Ambrosini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Hage to maneuver through the defense. The SSC Ambrosini players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
