Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andriy Shevchenko took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behçet Alp in the 9th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Donato Berardi kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play forced Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Angelo Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Portanares came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's Behçet Alp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Andriy Shevchenko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 43 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Angelo Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Farafulla FC's Angelo Boni. Angelo Boni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Farafulla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Portanares to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 71st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Agustín Saelices slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Boni. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. After 76 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. The attack was good, but when Andriy Shevchenko in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 82nd minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ciccio Senatore charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciccio Senatore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ryan Portanares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Portanares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes, Luis Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Farafulla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense.
