When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Farafulla FC's Andriy Shevchenko got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Ryan Portanares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Alfieri in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Farafulla FC's Andriy Shevchenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Angelo Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andriy Shevchenko was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Farafulla FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Andriy Shevchenko came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Behçet Alp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Behçet Alp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 56th minute Fabio Alfieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Portanares in the 58th minute of the match. Angelo Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of play.
