BAAS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rubens Sabóia in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as BAAS FC's Valentim Leão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danny Arpin. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. BAAS FC's Valentim Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montagnole FC's goalkeeper Danny Arpin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Montagnole FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Montagnole FC's Batiste Lavandier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 34 minutes into the match, Valentim Leão notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Montagnole FC's Danny Arpin. Danny Arpin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yannick Bolé kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Montagnole FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batiste Lavandier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BAAS FC's Valentim Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentim Leão to make the kick off. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montagnole FC's goalkeeper Danny Arpin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentim Leão struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Danny Arpin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BAAS FC. Anatole Fichot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tamer Kutcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valentim Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Arpin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes Montagnole FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramzi Boute. When Valentim Leão came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the BAAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentim Leão couldn't finish the play. Olivier Serot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Tamer Kutcan made a huge save. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montagnole FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rubens Sabóia was slow to take the kick. During this time BAAS FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to BAAS FC's Arnulfo Ortzi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Valentim Leão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Danny Arpin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the match, Valentim Leão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danny Arpin. Montagnole FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentim Leão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Valentim Leão scored 7-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danny Arpin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BAAS FC had won after a very even match.
