Julius Sutens struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Everardo Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stakendijk. In the 45th minute, Bernardino Aurken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Julius Sutens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aldo Ihintza made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Aldo Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda de Zeque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Stakendijk getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabrice Goemyne hit a great ball. If Aldo Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aldo Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Thibaud Goorts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Santos was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristan Gevaert got free with Everardo Santos in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
