Wellington Phoenix's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damon Voller in the 53rd minute. The corner led Wellington Phoenix's Damon Voller to fire away a dangerous shot which Marek Kolano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andrzej Dziatkowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kruttinnen SA's zone, Art Schulze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Kolano came out of the goal and Art Schulze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kruttinnen SA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Art Schulze scored to the left of an out of position Marek Kolano, making the score, 0-4. Art Schulze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marek Kolano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marek Kolano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Marek Kolano came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Wellington Phoenix's Art Schulze. But to his dismay, Art Schulze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Art Schulze was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Andrzej Dziatkowicz was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the final whistle sounded Wellington Phoenix left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kruttinnen SA.
