Martial Gobert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the ManCiTy defense, Martial Gobert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orçun Yabgu. The ManCiTy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orçun Yabgu should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Montagnole FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Atabek came free, but Danny Arpin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ManCiTy's zone, Gabin Génot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orçun Yabgu came out of the goal and Gabin Génot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efekan Akyol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efekan Akyol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Danny Arpin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martial Gobert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, ManCiTy's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Serot came free, but Orçun Yabgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batiste Lavandier kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Orçun Yabgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martial Gobert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ManCiTy's goalkeeper Orçun Yabgu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Montagnole FC's Ramzi Boute got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Aziz Atabek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, ManCiTy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şimşek Akkoç to maneuver through the defense. Danny Arpin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Atabek in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Olivier Serot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danny Arpin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efekan Akyol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Cihangir Cespan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabin Génot's shot from long distance in the 45th minute was not bad at all, but ManCiTy's Orçun Yabgu knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Efekan Akyol struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Danny Arpin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManCiTy.
Danny Arpin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efekan Akyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Danny Arpin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Aziz Atabek sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Olivier Serot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orçun Yabgu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Arpin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Atabek in the 61st minute of the match. When Martial Gobert came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Montagnole FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martial Gobert couldn't finish the play. Batiste Lavandier scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orçun Yabgu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martial Gobert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orçun Yabgu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute Efekan Akyol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Arpin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabin Génot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orçun Yabgu having to interfere. Orçun Yabgu came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Montagnole FC's Martial Gobert. But to his dismay, Martial Gobert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Efekan Akyol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Arpin having to interfere. When Anatole Fichot fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montagnole FC's protests and gave Anatole Fichot a yellow card for diving instead. Efekan Akyol's late challenge caught a Montagnole FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efekan Akyol helped the player get up and apologised.
