Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sharizan Pieng made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute of the game Ali Ning made a throw-in which Alif Dhanabalan played forward. Carson Ceney kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Sabastian Beins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sharizan Pieng in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Sharizan Pieng took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sabastian Beins to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute, Alif Dhanabalan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Asiz Chew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curtis Hilton in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match, Hidayat Yang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sabastian Beins was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 36 played minutes Wellington Phoenix got a freekick which was hit by Art Schulze. A sloppy throw-in by Alif Dhanabalan in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wellington Phoenix's Andrews Houldsworth. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Art Schulze to strike the kick off in the second half. Art Schulze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington Phoenix's Art Schulze got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Wellington Phoenix getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Curtis Hilton hit a great ball. Sharizan Pieng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sabastian Beins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Art Schulze in the 65th minute of play forced Melton Mow's goalkeeper Asiz Chew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Wellington Phoenix's Art Schulze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asiz Chew narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Curtis Hilton was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Downing Beverly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Sharizan Pieng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Melton Mow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The supporters of Wellington Phoenix booed when Melton Mow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sharizan Pieng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asiz Chew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Art Schulze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sharizan Pieng in the 86th minute of play forced Wellington Phoenix's goalkeeper Sabastian Beins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damon Voller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Asiz Chew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sharizan Pieng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melton Mow's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
