In the 15th minute Hannes Steenbecks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benne Marichal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gustav Wallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Peñaloza's Tobias Peyo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 34th minute Benne Marichal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Wallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthy Reniers took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustav Wallengren. Gustav Wallengren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 39th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaert Vrijdag to maneuver through the defense. Gustav Wallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Steenbecks in the 41st minute of play. Benne Marichal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benne Marichal to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Peñaloza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kent Coppens who took care of the corner kick. Kent Coppens made a great header on Geetsvondel²'s corner, it was just that Peñaloza's Gustav Wallengren managed to reach the ball for a save. Jochen Van den Wyngaert's late challenge caught a Peñaloza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jochen Van den Wyngaert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Jochen Van den Wyngaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peñaloza's Gustav Wallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Wouters in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Peñaloza's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benne Marichal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Geetsvondel²'s Henk Wouters got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustav Wallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Wouters in the 71st minute of the match. When Geetsvondel²'s Matthy Reniers in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peñaloza's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Tobias Peyo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier. Herald Wouqier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Relja Jurišić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peñaloza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 93rd minute, Henk Wouters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henk Wouters in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustav Wallengren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th match minute, Peñaloza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Benne Marichal got a free kick in the 96th minute.
