Greger Rudkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Utter having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Björkman in the 4th minute of play forced Vallentuna Kickers's goalkeeper Edgar Utter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Blueskatterna booed when Vallentuna Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Vallentuna Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mårtensson. Ivan Rolandsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Mellin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Blueskatterna getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alvin Forsberg hit a great ball. Kevin Mårtensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ivan Rolandsson made a huge save. Kevin Mårtensson came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivan Rolandsson could save by the left post. In the 19th minute Tommy Hernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Rolandsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Bolander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Rolandsson having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Kevin Mårtensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Rolandsson. FC Blueskatterna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Mårtensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Peter Björkman put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Utter. 31 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Oskar Mellin came free, but Ivan Rolandsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Utter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Björkman went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Bohlin during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vallentuna Kickers's Tommy Bohlin got a free kick in the 35th minute. Edgar Utter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greger Rudkvist went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Peter Björkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Edgar Utter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Peter Björkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Utter was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Hybbert in the 43rd minute of play forced Vallentuna Kickers's goalkeeper Edgar Utter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Greger Rudkvist hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vallentuna Kickers booed when FC Blueskatterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Rudkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Utter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Björkman in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th play minute Ludwig Lindström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edgar Utter. 1-5. Peter Björkman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Edgar Utter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Greger Rudkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Edgar Utter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Vallentuna Kickers's Edgar Utter got control of the ball when Peter Björkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Björkman in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Utter saved Vallentuna Kickers from getting behind. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vallentuna Kickers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Greger Rudkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Blueskatterna's players had a chance to rest. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, FC Blueskatterna's Greger Rudkvist got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edgar Utter. When Greger Rudkvist fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Blueskatterna's protests and gave Greger Rudkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Sven-Oskar Mellin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Rolandsson having to interfere. Alexander Ånger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Björkman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgar Utter. That made the score 1-7 in the 77 minute of play. Ivan Rolandsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Mellin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Peter Björkman got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-8 in the right cross in the 81st match minute before Edgar Utter had time to react. After 85 minutes, Peter Björkman made it 1-9 with a short kick to the right side. Vallentuna Kickers's Edgar Utter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 played minutes Vallentuna Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Melberg. After a defensive mix-up in Vallentuna Kickers's zone, Peter Björkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Utter came out of the goal and Peter Björkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Vallentuna Kickers getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mats Kellman hit a great ball. FC Blueskatterna's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
