Benne Marichal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zarco Figueira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cedrik Goossens sped through Peñaloza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zarco Figueira. After some careless play in the Geetsvondel² defense, Federico Estavan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herald Wouqier. The Geetsvondel² fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herald Wouqier should have stopped the shot. Angel Urtats scored 2-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herald Wouqier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Geetsvondel² booed when Peñaloza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Inguma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benne Marichal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cedrik Goossens to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Angel Urtats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Federico Estavan fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peñaloza's protests and gave Federico Estavan a yellow card for diving instead. Federico Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Cedrik Goossens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geetsvondel²'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cedrik Goossens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zarco Figueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benne Marichal in the 76th minute of the match. Cedrik Goossens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarco Figueira having to interfere. Matthy Reniers's late challenge caught a Peñaloza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthy Reniers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Matthy Reniers got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Wouters came free, but Zarco Figueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peñaloza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kent Coppens was slow to take the kick. During this time Geetsvondel²'s players had a chance to rest. Zarco Figueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Wouters's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Roekeloos to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Henk Wouters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarco Figueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Angel Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Kent Coppens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zarco Figueira skillfully saved the ball.
