To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henk Wouters came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Geetsvondel²'s Cedrik Goossens in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tabachana F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaert Vrijdag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes, Jochen Van den Wyngaert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geetsvondel² and the Tabachana F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tabachana F.C. booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jochen Van den Wyngaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedrik Goossens in the 12th minute of play forced Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanis Eleftheropoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Lambis Savvakis hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Wouters in the 21st minute of play. Geetsvondel²'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kent Coppens in the 22nd minute. After taking down the ball on Geetsvondel²'s corner Henk Wouters fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thibaut Courtois quite easily take care of the ball. Panos Pachopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henk Wouters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Panos Pachopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tabachana F.C. booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedrik Goossens didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The wind increased when Avraam Lykoudis made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brend Van der Goten to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Lambis Savvakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herald Wouqier skillfully saved the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Michalis Kalamaridis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabachana F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geetsvondel² the free kick. Michalis Kalamaridis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Kent Coppens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geetsvondel²'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Coppens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thibaut Courtois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michalis Kalamaridis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Geetsvondel² got a corner. Tabachana F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kent Coppens ran over to the corner to take the kick. Geetsvondel²'s Henk Wouters was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thibaut Courtois in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaert Vrijdag in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Reinaert Vrijdag tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Wouters, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Tabachana F.C.'s Efthimis Stamatiadis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Efthimis Stamatiadis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tabachana F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Efthimis Stamatiadis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tabachana F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Geetsvondel²'s Cedrik Goossens got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s Cedrik Goossens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thibaut Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaert Vrijdag. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Wouters, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Thibaut Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cedrik Goossens's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Reinaert Vrijdag came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Henk Wouters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thibaut Courtois. Tabachana F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henk Wouters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 98th minute, Henk Wouters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Geetsvondel² left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tabachana F.C..
