Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Igor Lebas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Lebas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of the match. Pierluigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Albino Olayo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pierluigi Buffon. Pierluigi Buffon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 60th minute, Narciso Noe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Zeledon Tabb threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save KaoS Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Amancio Semeno made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lluis Companys. In the 84thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Pierluigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KaoS Futbol Club throughout the match.
