Francana were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roman Koenig took the corner. Hussein Faraj made a great header on A.A. Francana's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Boström in the 12th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play. Charlie Boström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. A.A. Francana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Koenig in the 18th minute. It was a well-played corner which Francisco Secco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 21st minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Renan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36thth minute of the game Charlie Boström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Koenig, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Secco. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Renan Melo. A.A. Francana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 42nd minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A.A. Francana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Facundo Cadaval was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luca Zorita scored 0-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renan Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Renan Melo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.A. Francana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. In the 71st minute, Roman Koenig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renan Melo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Boström in the 74th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Roman Koenig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Renan Melo to make any attempt to save it. Francana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renan Melo. 87 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Renan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Bergsten came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Renan Melo was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-6. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
