Youssef Malek started the match with the kick off. Themba Takane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Richards, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Cimarrones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cuero Ibañez came free, but Themba Takane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Youssef Malek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themba Takane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Youssef Malek put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Themba Takane. Revolución Joao FC's Cuero Ibañez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rutenio Respaldizar in the 15 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Cimarrones F.C. defense, Youssef Malek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Themba Takane. The Cimarrones F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Themba Takane should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Revolución Joao FC's Youssef Malek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Themba Takane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Demetrio Giacchettis short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Olavo Velloso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Revolución Joao FC booed when Cimarrones F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Totakoxe Zabaleta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's Keith Richards broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubarna Donallo got free with Olavo Velloso in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Demetrio Giacchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Revolución Joao FC's Omar Ayon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Brecht Dheedene in the 39 minute of the game. Cuero Ibañez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Revolución Joao FC made a substitution. Gavril Stoican replaced Keith Richards. Revolución Joao FC's Leandro Bartoli was substituted for Youssef Malek. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brecht Dheedene to make the kick off. Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Giacchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Revolución Joao FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cristinel Iosub hit a great ball. Cimarrones F.C.'s Roger Belloso was substituted for Demetrio Giacchetti. In the 73rd minute Leandro Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themba Takane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Cimarrones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutenio Respaldizar to maneuver through the defense. Revolución Joao FC made a substitution. Justavino Manaut replaced Udalaitz Anel. After a rather tough play, Cimarrones F.C.'s Rutenio Respaldizar got a free kick in the 80th minute. Leandro Bartoli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Themba Takane firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 82 minutes Cimarrones F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cuero Ibañez who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cuero Ibañez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Themba Takane quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Themba Takane managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Revolución Joao FC's Leandro Bartoli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 93 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Belloso came free, but Olavo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Belloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olavo Velloso having to make a save.
