Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Olsson having to interfere. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Annedal FC's Luis Bladi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Bladi in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luis Bladi was slow to take the kick. During this time Annedal FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Annedal FC's corner Luis Bladi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. After 21 played minutes Annedal FC got a freekick which was hit by Enno Preissler. In the 24th minute of the match Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Olsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christer Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Luis Bladi lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Rolando Noboa. Christer Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 34th minute of play. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bladi went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Luis Bladi made the kick off in the second half. Christer Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 61st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Bladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute Luis Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Christer Olsson made a huge save. Annedal FC made a substitution. Atak Mukerrem replaced Luis Bladi. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Annedal FC had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
