Christer Olsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Luis Bladi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luis Bladi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Bladi ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Bladi got free with Marco Day in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Bladi's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luis Bladi who took care of the corner kick. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Annedal FC's goalkeeper Christer Olsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Annedal FC booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monty Rogers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Luis Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annedal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Bladi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Annedal FC's Christer Olsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of USA booed when Annedal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peder Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Bladi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Zach Harrison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, USA's Christer Olsson threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zach Harrison, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bladi in the 58th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bladi in the 63rd minute of play. Jacob May received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Christer Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Annedal FC made a substitution. Elliott Felin replaced Harald Bergman. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Olsson having to interfere. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Annedal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Khalid Parry scored to the left of an out of position Christer Olsson, making the score, 1-2. Christer Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Baker in the 94th minute of play. Christer Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Baker in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Annedal FC throughout the match.
