Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Mamba the free kick. After 6 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Black Mamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Dahlgren struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Mamba. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sebastian Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Black Mamba's Inocencio Raulo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Alexander Carballo was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Black Mamba booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 77th minute, Melchor Txilar made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Henry Dahlgren took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 85th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Black Mamba getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Samuel Inautzi hit a great ball. Axel Tasis has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 95th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Black Mamba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
