Cimarrones F.C.'s Totakoxe Zabaleta got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Cimarrones F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cimarrones F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Brecht Dheedene came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Giacchetti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecht Dheedene, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ubarna Donallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Totakoxe Zabaleta in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cimarrones F.C.'s Brecht Dheedene slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. Cimarrones F.C.'s Brecht Dheedene was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

After 58 played minutes Cimarrones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Brecht Dheedene. Rodney Madaria charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodney Madaria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Demetrio Giacchetti's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 96th minute.
