When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dino Palmisano to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes A.S. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Granata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Palmisano in the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dino Palmisano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that A.S. Ian Fenomeni were the better team. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
