An unexpectedly hard shot by Inguma Bouzon in the 12th minute of play forced Limburg FC's goalkeeper 朱德洋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajetan Zgonina's late challenge caught a Limburg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kajetan Zgonina helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Liwocz Brzyska FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kajetan Zgonina hit a great ball. Luís Caldeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roy de Boer. Jakub Pasterski kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Martijn Makaay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limburg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liwocz Brzyska FC the free kick. A collision led to Limburg FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Martijn Makaay hit a great ball. If Andrzej Szarmach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belchior Mamalis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luís Caldeira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Roy de Boer made a great header on Limburg FC's corner, it was just that Liwocz Brzyska FC's Luís Caldeira managed to reach the ball for a save. 28 minutes into the match, Limburg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Szarmach came free, but 朱德洋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Liwocz Brzyska FC were awarded a corner. Kajetan Zgonina went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kajetan Zgonina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 朱德洋 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andrzej Szarmach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 朱德洋 having to make a save. Roy de Boer kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roy de Boer during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Limburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Roy de Boer. Liwocz Brzyska FC's Kajetan Zgonina couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Limburg FC. Kajetan Zgonina was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Kajetan Zgonina hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Martijn Makaay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg FC's zone, Leonard Domala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 朱德洋 came out of the goal and Leonard Domala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martijn Makaay was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Martijn Makaay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Caldeira. Liwocz Brzyska FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martijn Makaay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Limburg FC's Roy de Boer got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Belchior Mamalis made a precise shot to the right of Luís Caldeira. Liwocz Brzyska FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Limburg FC's 朱德洋 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inguma Bouzon in the 75th minute of play. Martijn Makaay struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Luís Caldeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg FC.
