When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Spyros Zacharioudakis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Roman Steven got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Casomiro in the 32nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Raimond Lenk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimond Lenk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Spyros Zacharioudakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Teodoro Casomiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raimond Lenk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Teodoro Casomiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Piratas FC defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimond Lenk. The Piratas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimond Lenk should have stopped the shot. Angelo Rolado's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Rolado helped the player get up and apologised. Kryspin Degutis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute Spyros Zacharioudakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Gaspar Montxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Raimond Lenk in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 95th minute. Piratas FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
