Laerte Messias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Dodorol was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Laerte Messias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Laerte Messias. The goal made the score 0-7. Jesus Derwin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Encarale a la gordita's Laerte Messias got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Laerte Messias quite easily take care of the ball. Laerte Messias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agustín Saelices showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 83 minute of play.
