The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Csaba Kossuth. In the 7th minute, Jungle Circus's Csaba Kossuth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğukan Artan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dirch Pilbak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Doğukan Artan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Daniel Agger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Doğukan Artan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Csaba Kossuth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Csaba Kossuth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Al Thorbek kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Csaba Kossuth in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Malte Eriksen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After 82 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Jungle Circus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Doğukan Artan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th minute Csaba Kossuth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jungle Circus had won after a very even match.
